A saucy new neighbour of Lux and Noa on the Korte Leidse Dwarsstraat, welcome to the Zebra Lounge champagne bar. It's original unveiling was as a high- end strip bar run by an English ex- pat, but even Amsterdam city council draws a line somewhere and the owner had to get rid of the pole dancers. Now it's a plush, intimate lounge, all sleek sofas, thick carpets and thriving plant life. All the drinks under the sun are on offer though champagne seemed to be most popular with the moneyed, upmarket regulars. You can still catch gorgeous gals in here too, they just aren't working.
