The first time I entered this place my mouth fell open and I thought by myself “Why have I never seen this place?, why didn't I know about this?”. Right next to the Anne Frank House this former priest House is located. The place actually looks like an old farm house that lies right next to the canal at one of the most beautiful spots of the city and from the inside it's one big mix of modern and traditional aspects. After dinner during the rest of the evening you can enjoy yourself here with some drinks or some dancing when the tables are set aside around 12 or 1. A great place to spend the evening. The only negative aspects is that you pay for the toilets, but hey.. where in the city an you still use the toilet for free nowadays.

Posted by Patsy, 19 December, 2007When I visited Amsterdam to meet a classmate, she brought me to Restaurant Werck. It is not the big fancy restaurant that you can imagine for fine dining but it was the well kept restaurant I’ve ever been, nice price and extremely good food. My visit was well worth it because of this restaurant. I’ll be back for sure.
