Golfclub De Hoge Dijk

The exclusive reputation golf used to have in Holland is fading. These days, courses are crowded with players from all walks of life, especially at weekends. A safety certification is required for professional courses, but public courses are open to everyone, with many courses also offering driving ranges. You can play at a private club if introduced by a member, or if you belong to a British club; otherwise, there are several public courses open to everyone of which De Hoge Dijk is one. A public 18- hole polder on the edge of Amterdam. Reservations are required.
