As already mentioned, the Vondelpark is one of the best locations to go for sports and leisure, but concerning inline skating it definitely better then any other place. On the wide road that runs through the park you'll only find bicycles, skaters and some people walking that cannot find the walking lanes. The renting of skates can be done at the entrance at the side of the Amstelveenseweg (opposite side of the city) where you can also sit down in the sun for a drink. Put under your skates and try to beat the guys and girls that perform their tricks every day when the sun is shining.
